Tina Puckerin

tina Tina Puckerin is the Co-ordinator for CaribbeanTales Worldwide Distribution in Barbados.

Tina originates from Germany, where she studied anthropology, psychology, Dhrupad, a classical Indian Music Tradition and Drama. When she came to live in Barbados in 1986 her interest in theatre intensified and she enrolled in Jamaica School of Drama. Shuttling between Barbados and Germany for a few years she eventually settled down in Barbados in 2000 and soon became involved in the new film movement.

Working with the film group and Sene Mousa Absa on the “shoe project” was the initial introduction to film work and since then she took any opportunity to hone her skills by learning on the job. Within the last 5 years Tina produced 2 documentaries, 1 docu-drama, worked on the production of a number of short films, co-produced the Nifca award winning film “Holding On”, worked with the feature film production “Hit For Six” and the training program and feature film production “Stranger in Paradise”.

Since March 2010 Tina is working for CaribbeanTales, helping with administration, organization and fundraising. Tina is one of the coordinators of Caribbean Tales Film Festival, Symposium and Marketplace 2011.
